Attorney at Law Lisa Marie is a mid-west native of Cleveland, Ohio. She studied at Cleveland State University and received her BA and a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Lisa became actively involved in her community. She tutored at-risk inner-city students of all ages, she was a volunteer mentor with various community mentor programs, and she volunteered, and continues to volunteer, for many national and state political campaigns. Lisa Marie extended her studies overseas and attended the University of Savoie in Chambery, France where she studied International Law, European Trade, French and English Translation and European Culture. From this experience, Lisa was able to gain necessary skills to build a successful cross-cultural career involving communications and translation. She went even further in her cross-country experience by participating in the International Conference on Public Management and Development Administration hosted in Ghana, Africa. Lisa facilitated a workshop that addressed urban infrastructure, intergovernmental issues and the need to promote economic growth and stability in urban communities. Lisa Marie extended her studies at the largest and most diverse law school in the nation, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan. As a law student, Lisa was an honors scholarship recipient, was on the Dean’s List and awarded the blue book award in Law Office Management. She is a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity. While in Lansing, Lisa worked for Legal Services of South Central Michigan as the Clinic Coordinator. As the program coordinator, Lisa managed family law self-help clinics for six major counties in Michigan, including Ingham, Eaton, and Shiawassee Counties to name a few. She also supervised the intake screening division for new incoming clients.
 : When Lisa moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, she carried her love of community service to her new home. She volunteers at the Room In The Inn Homeless shelter by serving food to the homeless, talking to the guests and spending nights at the shelter and serving breakfast the next morning.    Lisa Marie is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, The Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and The National Association of Professional Women.       Lisa also spends her time as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix since 2006, where she teaches Philosophy, Business Ethics, Business Law, Communications, Constitutional History and Political Science.       For fun, Lisa loves to spend her free time cross-fitting, running, riding horses, and mountain hiking with her dogs Chloe and Sophie. She is also involved with amateur body building and is a volunteer oration coach with The Optimist Club.     Lisa Marie started the L.M. Johnson Law Firm with the desire to help others.    She understands dealing with the courts can be frustrating and scary and she wants to help you through some of your most challenging times.
